Bio
DJ Hennie V is Toronto’s President of Nightlife. He is most proclaimed for high profile events such as the Toronto International Film Fest, Much Music Video Awards & the CN Tower’s first ever party in the sky. Not only does Hennie V own the turntables at nightclubs, he has also attained a strong corporate alliance with such leading innovators as Research in Motion (BlackBerry), KPMG, Facebook, Patron, Rockstar Energy Drink, & The United Way. He has performed for celebrities and famous faces such as Paris Hilton, Chris Bosh, Lady Gaga, Kid Rock, Wayne Gretzy, Perez Hilton and Vern Troyer among many others.
Hennie V currently holds residencies at some of Toronto’s most respected venues and is the Director of Entertainment at Bananas, one of Ontario's hottest beach clubs. With frequent visits to cities outside of his native Canada -Chicago, Miami and LA- Hennie V's name is soon to be one you will see on the marquee in lights. When he isn't rocking crowds, Hennie V works hard raising money for charities and plans to take time off and go to Africa to lend a helping hand to those who are less fortunate.
Hennie V continues to build his name and captivate audiences with his distinctive technique of fusing house, electro, old school, Top 40, Hip Hop, and almost any other musical genre together while creating an environment that people not only want to be a part of, but need to be a part of.
“The power to be able to play a song that makes people happy and the feeling that I get from playing a song and hearing hundreds of people scream that puts a smile on my face,” says DJ Hennie V.
